Molded EPDM rubber hoses designed specifically for use with solar pool heating systems. 6" Connector Hoses go on the outlet of the last collector and the inlet of the first collector. They are used to make connections from panel to pipe adapter to PVC pipe (connecting feed and return plumbing lines to the panels). A CPVC pipe adapter is required for making the connection from panel to PVC pipe.

These couplings are an inch shorter than my original one, but they fit the solar mats end pipes well and do not make your hands black like the old rubber ones did.

I've had their roof top solar pool panels for about 3 years and had a pvc pipe burst this winter. Needed a longer hose connector which they promtly provided.

So I called the main number and within 5 minutes I was called back, they walked me through the exchange process, and went ahead and sent the correct diameter coupler right away so my solar heater was back in action sooner.

It would help to specify the inner diameter of the middle section of the coupling where the coupling wall is much thicker to avoid bulging. Also useful to know how many inches of the middle are thick. This has an impact on planning the pvc pipe ends which are being joined.

I used this part to replace a broken coupling on an existing solar pool heating system. It worked perfectly. Hopefully it will last longer than the glued coupling it replaced.
