SwimEasy's absorber was created for its combination of performance and durability. Its specialized design takes the best of loose-tube and flat plate designs and combines them, while omitting all their flaws. More heat absorption means more heat transferred to your pool.
Proudly Made In The U.S.A
High Performance Absorber
Simple Installation
Utilizes rubber hoses and metal hose clamps to make connections. These components are by far the fastest & simplest method for attaching & securing solar pool heating panels (less hassle & faster assembly).
Universal Replacement Panel
SwimEasy solar panels fit interchangeably with any solar pool heater panel that has round 1.5” or 2” I.D. header manifolds and makes connections with rubber hose type connectors.
Reliability & Longevity
SwimEasy solar panels undergo a state-of-the-art manufacturing process designed to substantially increase the material’s resistance to UV light. This specialized technique alters the properties of the plastic, enabling each collector the ability to withstand the harsh conditions of a rooftop, in all types of weather, for up to 15-20 years!
- SwimEasy solar panels are a great choice for anyone looking for a premium panel capable of producing outstanding heating results without the hit of a premium price tag.
- This panel has been used by professional installers across the country for decades for one simple reason; it works extremely well and keeps on working for years to come.
- SwimEasy solar panels are an investment aiming to save you money, time, and the headache of replacing damaged panels year after year.
STATE-OF-THE-ART MANUFACTURING
- Each SwimEasy solar panel undergoes a state-of-the-art manufacturing process designed to significantly increase the materials resistance to UV light. This process eliminates the inherent quality issues that plague cheaply manufactured products which typically see a lifespan of only 1-2 years.
- The result of SwimEasy's high-grade materials & specialized manufacturing techniques is a panel capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of a rooftop, in all types of weather, for 15-20 years!
Replaces ANY Solar Pool Heater With Round 1.5” or 2” Headers and Connects With Rubber Couplings!
- SwimEasy solar panels are the perfect choice for anyone looking to replace existing panels or a complete system that uses rubber hoses & metal hose clamps.
- SwimEasy solar panels fit interchangeably with any solar pool heater panel featuring a round 1.5” or 2” I.D. header and makes connections with a rubber hose type connector.
- The header size is a measurement of the internal diameter of the manifold. Please verify this size before ordering!
HEADER MEASUREMENTS & SIZING
1.5" Header:
- 1.5" manifold I.D. / 1.9" manifold O.D.
- Uses rubber hoses with a 1.9" (1-7/8") I.D.
2" Header:
- 2" manifold I.D. / 2.375" manifold O.D.
- Uses rubber hoses with a 2.375" (2-3/8") I.D.
The SwimEasy Difference
Unmodified polypropylene has a high rate of degradation from UV exposure. Sunlight breaks down the plastic and weakens it, a serious problem for a solar collector as its very nature is to collect as much sunlight as possible. Each absorber plate of a SwimEasy solar collector is made from a propylene copolymer with synergistic antioxidants and UV screen including carbon black.
These special additives, coupled with state-of-the art manufacturing techniques, substantially increase the material’s resistance to UV light. These are vital components and essential for a solar collector to be capable of withstanding the sun's harsh conditions on a roof-top, through all forms of weather, for many years.
Products made from plastic typically start out as one-of-two types of resin blends:
Masterbatch
Natural (clear) resin pellets are mixed with a concentrate during the extrusion process. This concentrate would contain additives and fillers used to affect the end-product’s physical appearance or properties. Sometimes called a “salt-and-pepper blend,” this type of mix is less expensive for the manufacturer to use, but can often result in uneven distribution of key additives.
Precompounded
Compounding is a process of melt-blending plastics with other additives. This process alters the physical, thermal, or aesthetic characteristics of the plastic. Compounding starts with a base resin, which is blended with additives in an industrial mixer, producing a final resin ready for use in manufacturing. Additives are evenly distributed throughout the resin and subsequent end-products.

Which Size System Do I Need?
The most relevant aspect of sizing a system is based on the square footage of your pool. We typically recommend anywhere from 50%-100% solar panel to pool square foot coverage based on a number of different variables including, weather, shade, install direction, wind, climate region, performance expectations, etc. For example, if your pool is 500 square feet, then 50% coverage would be 250 square feet of panels, 75% coverage would be 375 square feet of panels, etc. From there it is selecting a panel size that fits your installation area.
To find out precisely what size system (how many panels) will adequately heat your pool and provide the results your looks for, see our page on "How to Size Your System". All the factors are discussed and we will help you identify the best system for your pool, climate zone & heating goals.
